Legal Entities are companies that own locations.  Each location must belong to a legal entity.  Many reports can be run by legal entity which will show results for all locations that belong to that entity.  A legal entity usually has a corporate tax id.  Legal entities aren’t selected on transactions because the location is selected and whichever legal entity that location belongs to is associated with that transaction automatically. Before adding a new account, it is always a good rule of thumb to begin by reviewing your current list of accounts so as to avoid creating a duplicate or extremely similar account to one that already exists. Administrative users that have access to the ‘Setup Assistant’ also have the ability to reset other Users’ passwords.  This can be accomplished on the ‘Users & Security’ Section of the Setup Assistant, on the ‘Users’ Step.
