Overview

My Reports is the home to all reports in Restaurant365.  Reports are sorted and displayed on tabs that group the reports together, including User defined ‘Favorites’.  In order to view or access any report, a User must first be assigned to a Report Role that contains the specific Report.  Users will not be able to view, or run, any Reports that are not part of that Users’ Report Role.  Report Roles can be created and managed by an administrator and can be assigned to as many or few Users as needed.

Security

Users with the security role of ‘User Setup’ will have the ability to create a managed existing Report Roles, as well as assign those Report Roles to User Profiles.

Individual Users will be able to access and run each report that has been included in their assigned Report Role, regardless of the User’s Security Role.  Users will only be able to run reports for the Locations and Legal Entities that have been assigned to them in their User Profile.  Click here for more information on User Security Roles and Location Access

Navigation

‘My Reports’ is accessible from the Left Nav in every Module in Restaurant365.  Typically ‘My Reports’ is located in the ‘Reports’ subsection, but may be located in the main subsection (such as in the ‘Scheduling’ module).  To access ‘My Reports’ click on ‘My Reports’ in the Left Nav:

 

Report Roles Setup

Report Roles are required for Users to see and run Reports in ‘My Reports’.  Click here for more information on Report Roles Setup
